• Teachers are being allocated the following training, which is considered the minimum amount of training required by a teacher:

  • 2 hours of CPD time

    • Hour 1 recommended training: Bromcoms Teacher Training - Secondary NEW course. Note you may need to skip through the non-relevant elements/modules, as not all schools are adopting all modules immediately.

    • Hour 2 recommended training: Finish the above mentioned teacher training, and then run through your most commonly performed tasks on the demo website. Visit bromcom.athenalearningtrust.uk for further training opportunities

  • Short Bromcom slides in staff briefings

    • Slides will be presented by your schools Bromcom champion during staff briefings leading up to your go-live date

In addition to the required training mentioned above, staff are welcome to continue self learning with the content listed below.

• Quick Start: Get up and running with core Bromcom functions through concise video tutorials (15 minutes). Perfect for those who need to learn or recap the essentials fast. • Comprehensive online training with micro-modules: Dive deeper with our self-paced online modules, covering all aspects of Bromcom. This comprehensive program also includes access to live webinars and a library of recorded sessions for ongoing support and learning.

Tips for using the Bromcom online training

• You can stop and start modules/courses at any point, so it's incredibly convenient to learn

• You can enrol onto more than one course at a time

• When using the bromcom training website, please note the colours of the course let you know what style of course it is. Blue is an online course, red is a live webinar, and orange is a webinar recording.
